The wine shows ripe red apple & peach aromas underlaid by subtle baking spice characters from the ageing on the lees. There is a hint of exotic fruit from the ripest portion giving the wine a lovely spicy nuance. The palate is soft & generous with well-integrated acidity balanced with luscious fruit sweetness and a long silky finish. While drinking well in the short term, this will develop into a texturally rich and satisfying Pinot Gris after a few years in bottle. An absolute stunner.
